As part of a broader strategy to combat unemployment and foster sustainable wealth creation, the programme will offer training in 30 high-demand vocational and entrepreneurial skills. From digital and agricultural training to hands-on vocational trades, participants will gain valuable experience that can be immediately applied in the job market or small business space.
To ensure inclusivity and grassroots participation, the training will be conducted at the electoral ward level nationwide. This localized approach is designed to maximize accessibility and ensure that underserved communities are not left behind.
The initiative, known as the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 2, provides completely free training in various skill areas including:
- Vocational and technical trades
- Digital literacy and online skills
- Agribusiness and modern farming techniques
- Entrepreneurship and small business development
By equipping participants with relevant, market-ready skills, the NDE seeks to empower thousands of individuals to become self-employed, support their families, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economy.

Registration Steps
Follow these steps to apply for the NDE RHEI empowerment:
- Create an account on the NDE job registration portal.
- Start your ID verification process by inputting your NIN.
- Fill in important details regarding your academic background, address, birth, and LGA of origin.
- Submit your application and download the acknowledgement slip
- Make sure to update your state of origin to your state of residence if both are not the same, as verified by NIMC.
