The Civil Defence, Correctional Center, Fire Service, and Immigration Board (CDCFIB) recruitment was carried out last year. After the recruitment, the computer-based test for assessment was taken.

After the CBT test, nothing has been heard with regard to the final list of shortlisted candidates and physical training for the shortlisted candidates.

Latest News on CDCFIB Recruitment 2026

Not much has been heard after the computer-based test was conducted. Candidates have not yet received any message from the board, either via email or SMS. 

However, information gathered from an insider suggests that the CDCFIB is very close to its final stage of the recruitment process.

Applicants will soon receive SMS and email messages with details of physical training and screening.

CDCFIB Physical Training Date and Screening Details

The CDCFIB Physical Training Date and Screening Details will be revealed shortly. This shall be done by sending SMS and email messages to all successful applicants. If you do not receive the message, know that you have not been shortlisted.

Is the CDCFIB list of shortlisted candidates out?

The initial list was released, which was for people who wrote the CDCFIB CBT exams. The final list for physical training and screening will be released after a thorough verification has been done.

The List shall be published on the CDCFIB website and all their social media platform. Applicants are advised to keep checking the Platforms as well as their SMS and Emails.

CDCFIB Physical Training and Documents Verification

Based on information gathered, candidates invited for physical screening and verification of the CDCFIB must present the original and photocopies of the documents below:

  1. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age: Original and photocopies (preferably National Population Commission certificate).
  2. Certificate of State/Local Government of Origin: Duly signed by the Chairman or Secretary.
  3. Educational Certificates: Primary School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial, and Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) with 5 credits.
  4. National Identification Number (NIN) Slip: Original and copy.
  5. Print-out of Application Form & Invitation Slip: Documents showing you were shortlisted.
  6. Completed Guarantor’s Form: Duly signed.
  7. Medical Certificate of Fitness: Obtained from a government-recognized hospital, valid for at least three months.
  8. Passport Photographs: Several recent copies (white background).
  9. Two White Flat Files: To arrange documents.

Cadre-Specific Requirements

  1. Superintendent Cadre: Degree/HND Certificate and NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
  2. Inspectorate Cadre: NCE or ND Certificate.
  3. Assistant Cadre: O’Level results.

Physical Screening Details

  1. Dress Code: White shirt, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.
  2. Checks: Height, chest measurements, weight, eyesight, and potential tattoos/deformities.
  3. Activity: Physical endurance training (jogging).
